"Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth."
1 John 3:18

Operation Christmas Child
‘Tis the season to turn in your shoebox gifts! Let’s keep boxes coming in, deadline to drop off is Sunday, Nov 17th!
Don’t forget: Candy or Toothpaste is NOT allowed due to custom policies. Also, don’t forget the $9 shipping cost in your box or you can pay online and print a special label to track your box at: www.samaritanspurse.org/operation-christmas-child/follow-your-box/
As of Thursday, Oct 31st we have collected over 450 boxes! You all are doing fantastic! Encourage your family, friends and small groups to get involved. Remember: a shoebox not only affects a child but a whole family. You never know the impact you are making with a simple shoebox!
The most important thing you can pack in your box is PRAYER! Please take time to pray for the churches who will be distributing these boxes all over the world, for the child who receives it, and for their family. This is just a small way we can show God’s love with unreached families! **We need helpers to organize and sort shoeboxes!! If interested, please see Samantha ASAP :)
NEMO: Teacher Appreciation
We love pouring into the teachers at Northside Elementary. This past Wednesday was their Teacher In-Service Day and every year they look forward to City Church surprises! This month we brought Starbucks Coffee and pastry trays to give them that extra energy they needed to complete their day! Can’t wait for more fun, practical days like this in 2020 :)
H.U.G.S
This is another ministry for our friends at Northside Elementary School! Every December we collect Hats, Underwear, Gloves, and Socks for children in need. Start grabbing them now...Drop-Off will begin on Sunday, Dec 1st at The Annex!
Samaritan’s Purse Rebuild Program
The Rebuild Crews are well underway repairing and rebuilding homes for homeowners who have exhausted all their options and otherwise couldn’t do it on their own. God is at work in Panama City and we are grateful to have volunteers from all over the country come and serve our city. They are also getting in the “Christmas spirit” and making shoeboxes each week for the City Church shoebox count!
City Church has the privilege to participate in Home Dedications for those receiving a brand new home! This a wonderful opportunity to pray with the homeowner and celebrate what God has done for each family. We give a gift filled with household items, goodies, a City Church devotional and special message from the church staff for the homeowner as well. We would love to have you join us for Dedication Days!

Attn: Samaritan's Purse To whom it may concern: My husband and I are both 60 and my husband is a cancer survivor. We are currently living in a camper on my mom's property. The camper has leaks, all the floors are soft and ready to fall through. We have no ac. Most days it's over 100' in the camper. We have water running to the camper but not into it. So we can't shower and it's too hot to cook. The bed is situated in such a way that one person must climb over the other to get in or out. This is really hard as we are both disabled. We also own a 12 x 40 office building we could live in.…
